Join Park Industries as a Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst, where you'll serve as the primary business partner to our Manufacturing team. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, or equivalent education and experience (required)

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to analyze costs, review inventory and purchase variances, and lead monthly reviews with manufacturing leadership—providing recommendations to improve performance.
• Manage and maintain the standard costing system, including labor, overhead, and freight calculations. Coordinate and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual cost rolls.
• Prepare and present monthly/quarterly reports and metrics, leveraging tools like Power BI to automate and enhance reporting.
• Lead initiatives that strengthen cost accounting practices and support cross-functional system projects in partnership with IT.
• Complete monthly journal entries, reserve estimates, and other close activities. Serve as the lead contact for inventory-related audit processes and prepare supporting work papers.
• Partner with Manufacturing teams to prepare annual budgets, analyze results against targets, and present findings to drive informed decisions.
• Provide JD Edwards cost accounting support for Finance and cross-functional teams.
