About The Position

This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Stanford Hotel Corporation. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for total account management of all IBT and Group Sales accounts, including soliciting, and contracting corporate transient and group business in accordance with the marketing plan and assigned market segments. Generates a high profile and quality perception in the marketplace. Responsible for generating guest room and other revenues as described by the Director of Sales & Marketing. Also responsible for maximizing profitability and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Must have a bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years’ equivalent combination of education and experience Strong understanding of corporate accounts, Business Travel, Leisure, and WA clients and segments Must have a minimum of 5 years’ Hotel Sales Manager experience Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Marriott experience preferred

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years’ equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounts, Business Travel, Leisure, and WA clients and segments
  • minimum of 5 years’ Hotel Sales Manager experience
  • valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
