About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Corporate Insurance Consultant In this role, you will: Lead or participate in large or moderately complex exposure and analysis, risk mitigation, financing, claims programs, and processes within insurance risk Contribute to development and implementation of risk strategies Evaluate moderately complex exposures to accidental loss Analyze qualitative or quantitative data of the possibility of loss and the potential impact within insurance risk Lead teams in structure design Develop self-insurance programs and marketing strategies Manage deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of claims management policies, programs and related systems Collaborate and consult with more experienced staff for support on complex analysis, oversight of outside council and third-party agencies Lead projects and provide guidance to teams

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Corporate Insurable Risk Management, Risk Management Consulting, Property or Casualty Insurance, or Insurance Brokerage experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements at one of the listed locations: 1751 & 1753 Pinnacle Dr Mclean, VA 22102 or 550 S Tryon St Charlotte, NC 28202
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents. Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.

  • Experience and/or working knowledge of agency lending programs, including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and/or FHA financing
  • Ability to research, compile, and perform complex analysis on insurance data
  • Knowledge and understanding of compliance or risk
  • Ability to independently provide summaries and make strategic recommendations
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Outstanding troubleshooting and resolution skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office, including Excel, skills
  • Commercial insurance experience
  • 2+ years of property and casualty insurance experience
