About The Position

As our Senior Corporate Accountant & Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting advanced accounting functions in order to facilitate the availability of accurate financial and operational information which is used for management planning and financial reporting. Specifically, this will include: Maintaining and analyzing costs for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, providing insight into production variances, batch losses, and chemical convesion costs; Assisting in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling financial projections; Assisting in cycle counts and periodic inventory valuation checks; Build financial models to evaluate new products, prodcess changes, and cost-reduction initiatives; Performing financial analysis to support capital investments, pricing decisions, and operational improvements; Supporting chemical procurement costs analysis, including market price movements, commoditiy exposures and hedging; Assisting with ERP optimization and data integrity for manufacturing, costing, and finance modules; and, Other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 4-7 years' experience in accounting or financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, PowerBi, and Microsoft Dynamics desired

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in chemicals, metals, or heavy manufacturing strongly preferrred
  • CPA or CMA preferred
