As a member of the creative team, this individual is responsible for the conceptual development and drafting of copy for various types of promotional advertising, direct marketing, financial materials, and/or internal communications. Ensures copy is consistent with overall strategic goals of the organization and the appropriate business unit. May be assigned the most complex or high profile copywriting projects. Will coordinate activities with design, proofreading, marketing strategy, project management or others to assure quality, timeliness and cost efficiency. We’re looking for a dynamic, passionate, copywriter with deep expertise in D2C/B2C copywriting within our Association business in Group Insurance. The best candidate will have the ability and desire to take complicated financial services content and translate it into simple, concise, compelling copy that inspires consumer audiences to take action. The ideal candidate should have experience with marketing copywriting including direct-response copywriting, and a demonstrated portfolio of success in this area, preferably in the financial services space. The copywriter must be familiar with the process of creating marketing materials that are highly variable, segmented, and personalized to myriad sub-sections within target audiences. The ideal writer should be able to take and implement feedback to grow as a creative professional. This position supports a fast-paced organization and so the ability to manage complex, multi-step tasks is key to success. Finally, the ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and a keen ability to think outside the box.
