About The Position

The Senior Copywriter at Disney's Yellow Shoes is responsible for creating innovative and impactful content for digital and social channels associated with Disney Parks and Resorts. This role requires a mastery of writing, storytelling, and ideation, with a focus on delivering award-winning creative campaigns. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with an Art Director and mentor junior creatives, while also managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience developing 360 advertising campaigns.
• Proven presentation skills with confidence and passion when sharing ideas internally.
• Proficiency in ideating in the digital and social space.
• Strong time management skills to balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding writing and grammatical skills.
• Proficiency in presentation software including PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides.
• Strong attention to detail and a Type A-level work ethic.
• Knowledge and genuine curiosity about the Walt Disney Company's history, including films, animation, television, and theme parks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in innovation, trend, promotional, experiential, and social media.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Minimum of 5 years in an agency setting or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Craft innovative content for all digital and social channels associated with the Disney Parks and Resorts group.
• Mentor junior creatives in the team.
• Show problem-solving skills and creative thinking for a range of advertising mediums.
• Work well with an Art Director partner to deliver compelling, 360 campaign concepts.
• Interpret creative briefs and act upon client feedback while keeping projects on schedule and meeting deadlines.
• Deliver polished and well-written creative elements for internal and external presentations.
• Participate in creative discussions with music houses, directors, editors, and other vendors as they relate to the creative output.
• Construct cohesive creative presentations and present comfortably to internal clients.
