About The Position

At Twin, our Clinical Delivery Services & Management team ensures clinicians are fully licensed and credentialed so our members receive seamless, high-quality care. As a Senior Coordinator, Provider Licensing & Credentialing, you will play a key role in managing licensure, health plan credentialing, and compliance processes across multiple states, helping our clinical teams focus on delivering exceptional care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business
  • 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare licensing, credentialing, or regulatory operations, preferably in telemedicine or digital health
  • Proven experience in healthcare licensing and credentialing, preferably in a telemedicine or healthcare technology setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of state-specific licensing requirements and health plan credentialing processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to communicate and work across client organizations, engaging on a range of tactical and strategic issues, with senior executives as well as execution teams
  • Exceptionally strong project management skills, with demonstrated organizational skills, high attention to detail and ability to balance between thoughtful planning and timely execution
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment working under time constraints to manages all changes that come with a rapidly expanding organization in a high growth environment
  • Proficiency with Google applications and with PM tools, such as Monday.com, and MS Project
  • Can engage providers at all levels (CMOs, MDs, Medical Directors, Advanced Practitioners, care managers) and instill trust and inspire for transformation

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of provider licenses across all states and DC, including initial applications, renewals, and continuing medical education tracking. Ensure timely submissions to prevent gaps or delays.
  • Lead credentialing and re-credentialing processes with multiple health plans. Collect and verify provider documentation, coordinate with internal teams, and liaise with health plans to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving state and federal licensing and credentialing regulations. Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure organizational adherence to standards. Conduct audits and track key compliance metrics.
  • Partner with clinical leadership, operations, and external agencies to facilitate onboarding, licensing strategy, legal, compliance, and provider support. Serve as a primary point of contact for providers regarding licensing and credentialing questions.
  • Track and report on license and credentialing status, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for process improvements. Implement operational solutions to improve efficiency and scalability across jurisdictions.
  • Contribute to strategic projects such as regional expansion, telemedicine growth, and system optimization. Help lay the foundation for a future transition of licensing operations in-house. Support initiatives that enhance provider experience and operational excellence.
  • Partner closely with POCs from vendors supporting licensing and CME tracking to maintain strong working relationships, prioritize requirements, and ensure timely follow-up on any outstanding actions
  • Work closely with compliance and legal teams to support URAC accreditation, coordinating required actions and ensuring the timely completion of credentialing activities in Medallion
  • Oversee and collaborate with a Licensure & Operations Coordinator, ensuring close coordination to prevent licensing lapses or missed renewals
  • Other duties as assigned
