About The Position

In this role, you will be a part of the team responsible for Kohl's in-house base media strategy and cross-channel investment planning. You will collaborate cross-functionally across the marketing, finance and analytics organizations and coordinate internal projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years marketing experience
  • Ability to work independently and follow complex documentation
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment to accomplish detail-oriented tasks with accuracy
  • Ability to perform the accountabilities listed in the “What You’ll Do” Section
  • Ability to comply with dress code requirements
  • Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation
  • Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
  • Ability to give direction and to receive, understand and proactively respond to direction from leadership and other company personnel
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively and appropriately with others
  • Ability to maintain composure and work in a fast paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs
  • Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating, preparing reports, etc.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and monitor activities across business units
  • Ability to complete or oversee the completion of assigned projects in a timely manner

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of paid media experience
  • 1-2 years of paid media experience at a media agency and/or an in-house media department
  • 1-2 years of direct mail experience

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to developing strategic plans, including investment and go-to-market, including flighting and communication planning
  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly and annual media investment documents and contribute to process improvements and new procedures
  • Gather and analyze performance results and insights to help inform future investment planning
  • Communicate with media channel owners and marketing teams on an ongoing basis to ensure all parties are aligned to the media plan and deadlines are met
  • Schedule and own invitations for internal review meetings
  • Attend internal reviews, create agenda of projects to be reviewed and manage meeting preparation
  • Coordinate feedback and action items during internal reviews
  • Additional tasks may be assigned
