About The Position

The Senior Coordinator, HR Business Partner at Ford Motor Company plays a crucial role in implementing impactful HR programs related to people and culture, particularly within a unionized workforce. This position oversees the Labor Relations Office's daily functions, ensuring positive union/management relations and compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing labor environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in combination with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee hourly timekeeping transactions and track manpower planning using an internal database.
  • Ensure proper application of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, particularly in job postings, promotions, and payroll matters.
  • Build and maintain positive Union/Management relations.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for policy administration as it applies to hourly personnel.
  • Support and administer employment benefits while assisting customer interactions between the state unemployment office and the company.
  • Assist hourly employees, management, and union with various labor questions and issues.
  • Deliver meaningful insights and assistance to HR functional leads and business managers by solving routine people and culture problems.
  • Support Specialists and Managers in applying HR principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations functions within the HR team.
  • Conduct orientation and induction for incoming employees and support exit interviews.
  • Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data.
  • Assist in tracking employee metrics and preparing data for HR Dashboard reports.
  • Solve routine HR problems using established policies and procedures.
