The Louisiana State University Future Scholars (LSUFS) Program, housed in the Office of Pre-College Programs aims to remove barriers to college enrollment while providing the support and resources needed to complete high school and attend and graduate from Louisiana State University. Students that complete the program will be awarded a full tuition scholarship to Louisiana State University. The Senior Pre-College Program Coordinator plays a pivotal leadership role in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the LSUFS Program. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Pre-College Programs, this position provides strategic oversight, ensures program excellence, and mentors junior staff. The Senior Coordinator is responsible for high-level planning, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder engagement to advance the program’s mission and outcomes. This Senior Coordinator will be required to report to and help carry out the operation, vision, and values of the Office of Enrollment Management & Student Success. The Office of Pre-College Programs prioritizes the following: Access to support networks, resources, and higher education; Connecting students with mentors (LSU faculty, staff, and students) who can support, guide, and encourage them as they transition from secondary to post-secondary spaces; Helping students explore personal and academic values as well as career goals while engaging in social & civic engagement activities; Educating students and their families about college funding options, the college application process, and transition support; Preparing students to reach their full potential at the flagship.
