About The Position

As a Senior Coordinator, Accounts Receivable (AR Specialist) at Cardinal Health, you will be responsible for managing collections for the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (Clients) we service. This role requires critical thinking skills and the ability to present reconciliations to clients over the phone or face to face. You will report accurate and timely accounting information to the pharmaceutical manufacturers by posting cash payments received to open invoices, creating deductions taken on checks in our accounting system, and entering necessary journal entries.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
• Must live within 1 hour radius of LaVergne, TN.
• Previous accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Present reconciliations to groups within the company and industry over the phone or face to face.
• Manage payment posting and collections for the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (Clients).
• Gather information using critical thinking skills.
• Communicate effectively through email, phone, and in person.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel proficiently.
• Organize tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Apply knowledge of job and company policies to complete various assignments.
• Work independently within established procedures with general guidance on new assignments.
• Provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members.
