About The Position

We have an opening for a full time SENIOR COOK position at CxRA, located at 33-51 62nd Street, Woodside, NY 11377. This position requires previous culinary and leadership experience. The pay range is $23.00 to $27.00 per hour. The schedule is full time, from Friday through Thursday, with hours that may vary. More details will be provided during the interview. CxRA is a custom caterer devoted to creating extraordinary events, using fresh, local ingredients and years of culinary expertise. We focus on craft, precision, and presentation, while ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

• Previous culinary and leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use and perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy, maintaining organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assist in the cross training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
