Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on conversation build experience, with at least 2 years working with LLMs
  • 5+ years in the conversation design, or prompt engineering space
  • Demonstrated expertise in timely prompt engineering techniques such as few-shot learning, chain-of-thought prompting, and context management
  • Solid knowledge of conversational AI technologies, such as NLU, dialogue management, LLMs, and RAG systems
  • Experience with conversation analytics tools and data-driven build methodologies
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into simple, user-friendly experiences
  • A portfolio showcasing successful conversation build projects completed for clients or employers
  • Excellent collaborator management and communication skills
  • Comfort with rapid iteration in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise-scale conversational AI deployments
  • Familiarity with AI safety and responsible AI principles
  • Background in linguistics, cognitive science, or human-computer interaction
  • Experience with multiple LLM platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
  • GoDaddy experience preferred
  • Experience building customer-facing LLM products

Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize conversational AI experiences across multiple touchpoints ensuring user needs and business outcomes are at the forefront
  • Lead end-to-end conversation creation projects, including user research, conversation flow mapping, timely prompt crafting, and performance optimization
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and deploy new tools that enhance customer experience
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive conversation build systems, such as style guides, prompt libraries, and reusable build patterns
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other collaborators to implement and iterate AI solutions
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve conversation quality and user experience
  • Analyze conversation transcripts, user feedback, and data insights to identify and implement improvement opportunities
  • Mentor team members on prompt engineering guidelines and conversation development methodologies
  • Support localization and accessibility initiatives to ensure inclusive experiences for our global user base
