About The Position

We are seeking a Control System Engineer to join our In-House Controls team within World-Wide Central Engineering. This global role requires a dynamic individual ready to travel and lead the deployment of automation solutions across our international network. The ideal candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset, demonstrate Bias for Action, and be prepared to lead complex software deployment and implementation for automation systems.

Requirements

Experience as a technical lead, systems engineer, or technical program manager with significant experience in complex systems
Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
7+ years of industrial controls and automation experience, or Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, or experience in computer architecture
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers, or experience managing teams
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers, or experience in embedded wireless systems
7+ years of industrial controls and automation experience
Master's degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or 4+ years of industrial controls and automation experience

Responsibilities

Lead global deployments of software projects
Manage high-impact software releases to ensure minimal operational disruption
Train and mentor engineering team members
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to engineering reviews, impacting solutions for systems and architecture
Analyze system performance and provide optimization recommendations
