Responsibilities: Program both safety and non-safety PLCs and Operator HMIs according to Matrix standards and customer specifications. Provide the technical expertise required for computer and PLC setup, programming, and assistance, including the planning/writing and testing/debugging of programming code as necessary. Configure and program network remote I/O devices using Ethernet IP, PROFIBUS, and PROFINET. Work collaboratively with Electrical Engineers and Applications Engineers to complete systems that meet customer expectations and deadlines. Perform startup, testing, and debugging of hardware, including all field devices. Travel to customer facilities to complete installations, make modifications, and support run-offs when necessary. Provide input to engineering, manufacturing, and Matrix management as appropriate to inform them of findings that are significant to improving existing products and/or new products. Qualifications
