About The Position

Join us as a Senior Controls Engineer in Holland, MI as we work together to bring innovative automation solutions to life and support our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role reports to our Lifecycle Management Division, focused on supporting our customers through system optimizations and modernizations. The ideal candidate will not only excel in controls and programming aspects of projects but also be adept at leading controls/programming activities outside of projects, responding to customer inquiries, and providing expert guidance. Location Type: This is an onsite position in Holland, MI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in Controls Engineering.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PLC's, HMI's, Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, Vision Systems and/or Programming.
• Solid leadership experience.
• Problem Solving expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to control systems.
• Experience with CAD (i.e. AutoCAD Electrical).

Responsibilities

• Lead controls and programming activities outside of traditional project boundaries.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide expert guidance.
• Support customers through system optimizations and modernizations.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and controls troubleshooting.
• Lead simultaneous projects and/or large projects.
• Collaborate closely with the customer support division.
