About The Position
The Senior Control Systems Infrastructure Engineer at the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the infrastructure that supports the SNS Integrated Controls System (ICS). This role involves ensuring high reliability and safety in the control systems used for scientific operations, with a focus on networking and EPICS infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with control system engineers and accelerator operators to support the SNS accelerator and target complex, requiring independent judgment and decision-making skills.
