Job Summary: This job involves designing, developing and testing embedded control system features for Caterpillar products. Control systems engineers will utilize a variety of tools to support all steps of the embedded software development process. Our team has one hundred features in production on a wide variety of Caterpillar models focused on machine performance and operator assistance. Features include Transmission Automatic Gear Selection, Machine Speed Limiter, Traction Control, AutoCarry and Auto Set Tires.
