About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Control-M Developer (Remote). In this role, you will have a significant impact on the management of enterprise-scale batch scheduling and data pipelines. You will design and develop Control-M job flows while ensuring data quality across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be skilled in automation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and maintain seamless operations. This is a key position for driving efficiency in data engineering and processing.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience as a Control-M Developer / Scheduler.
Strong experience in Data Engineering or ETL development.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting enterprise batch processing environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and monitoring tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Python, Spark, or Scala is a plus.
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms is beneficial.
Control-M certification is a plus.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Control-M job flows for complex batch and data workflows.
Create and manage job dependencies, calendars, conditions, and alerts.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize batch failures and performance issues.
Implement job automation, reruns, recovery, and SLA management.
Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless scheduling.
Develop and support data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools and scripting.
Integrate Control-M with data platforms such as Data warehouses and Big data ecosystems.
Orchestrate workflows involving file transfers, APIs, and cloud storage.
Schedule and monitor workloads in AWS / Azure / GCP environments.
Integrate Control-M with cloud-native services.
