About The Position

The Sr Contracts Specialist will work closely with the operations with responsibility for all aspects of the Federal contracts processes for the S&I Business Unit. This responsibility includes drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating a variety of contracts with customers and partners. The Sr. Contracts Specialist position will regularly work with all functional departments across the company including finance, program management, subcontracts and accounting to support the full life cycle of all award agreements. This position is remote in the United States. Required Skills & Experience Being comfortable in an evolving and dynamic environment, adjusting quickly to change, confidently managing competing priorities, works proactively with minimal oversight and without the need for follow-up on directives, and consistently performing well with a fluctuating workload. Administer complex, strategic Federal Agreements supporting the S&I Business Unit, to include but not limited to, Prime Contracts and Subcontracts with and/or supporting Federal Agencies. Manage a portfolio of strategic Federal customer contracts and relationships including contract amendments and renewals of existing legacy contracts. Review and analyze documents to determine contractual obligations and risks; explain these commitments to internal stakeholders. Interprets contracts to ensure alignment with company objectives and policies. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and operational needs, translating them into tailored contracting strategies. Develop, draft, and negotiate unique terms and conditions that address customer-specific requirements while maintaining compliance with company policy, legal standards, and risk tolerance. Proactively identify opportunities to structure agreements that balance customer priorities with organizational goals, ensuring win-win outcomes. Create problem-solving approach to contract development, ensuring agreements are both practical and strategically aligned. Ensures that contracts contain all appropriate terms and conditions. Monitor project end dates and manage any related renewals in coordination with internal stakeholders. Act as a liaison between organization and customers to support the management of Agreements. Support internal policies and procedures in the execution of contract administration duties. Willingness to establish, attend and actively participate customer engagement, to include but not limited to, regular meetings with customers and partners. Review Request for Information and Solicitations and assist in the development of proposal responses ensuring consistency with corporate policy, pertinent regulations, and customer requirements. Assist in the management of contract proposal volumes, supporting any related fact funding and documentation completion to ensure proposals are fully responsive to prospective customer requirements. Utilize Deltek Costpoint contract management database and other repositories to ensure that contracts and related correspondence are properly stored and tracked. Other projects as assigned by the Contracts Manager and/or VP Contracts.

  • Ability to participate on cross-functional teams both within the contracts department and with other corporate departments while maintaining a collaborative environment.
  • Must have general business skills and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Manage multiple assignments and engagements concurrently.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing contracts.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • At least 8-12 years of Federal contracts experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • Clearance Required: None, but must be eligible to obtain.
  • Ability to interpret policies, contracts, and law/regulations and relevance to Federal Civilian, State/Local and Commercial transactions, particularly related to cloud service offerings.
