About The Position

The Senior Contracts Manager will administer, draft, negotiate, and evaluate contracts, acting as a liaison between corporate clients and the Legal Contracts and Compliance team in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures. This role involves determining compliance with contract terms, answering questions related to contracts, resolving issues as appropriate, and collaborating with the Legal Contracts and Compliance team and internal clients as necessary. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Supply Chain Contracts within the Supply Chain Contracts team, this strategic role coordinates with business partners on allocated supply chain contract matters, manages a complex portfolio of allocated supplier contracts, and communicates with Supply Chain leadership to develop, analyze, and execute such contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience; OR
  • Advanced Degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience; OR
  • In the absence of a degree, 13 years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance to stakeholders daily for allocated projects.
  • Drafts, generates, negotiates, interprets, and manages complex contract documents for allocated suppliers, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives.
  • Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure allocated contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters, in accordance with company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Negotiates allocated supplier contracts with its stakeholders, to achieve business favorable terms.
  • Reviews contractual terms and conditions for their acceptability, as well as assessing the risk and impact.
  • Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through development of unique contract terms.
  • Briefs management and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation and contingency plans based on developed recommendations, for allocated contracts.
  • Tracks and reports key functional metrics.
  • Represents the organization on legal issues for allocated contracts.
  • Maintains historical legal records.
