The USACE NWO mission is to deliver vital engineering solutions, in collaboration with partners, to secure the nation, energize the economy, and reduce disaster risks by focusing on a diverse array of missions, including flood risk management, navigation, hydropower, environmental restoration, and regulatory oversight. Seeking Senior Contracts Manager candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Senior Contracts Manager) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in contract management; knowledge of government contracting regulations.
  • A college degree in business from an accredited university/college or accreditation through examination equivalent to a Certified Professions Contracts Manager through the National Contracts Management Association.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a cost reimbursement project/program.
  • 10+ years in contract management; certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) are beneficial.
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Law.
  • Skills Required: Negotiation, contract law, dispute resolution, risk management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management.
  • Outstanding time management and prioritization abilities to meet project milestones.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of The Engagement Team as "Key Management Personnel" and work to oversee contract negotiations; manage contract compliance; resolve contract disputes.
  • Contract Management Personnel and, more specifically, the Senior Contracts Manager (Key Management Personnel) shall be designated and trained within the organization to be responsible for overall Senior Contracts Management.
  • Ensuring that all acquisition and contract management related to this contract (including, but not limited to, subcontracts, socioeconomic programs, field purchases, rental agreements, modifications) are performed in accordance with the FAR and contract requirements when administering cost reimbursement task orders
  • Where applicable, the Senior Contracts Manager is responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to federal contract management and acquisition
  • A working knowledge of Government fiscal law and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
