SUMMARY: Senior Contracts Manager provides day-to-day management of the preparation, negotiation and execution of contracts consistent with corporate policies and procedures. This is an in-office full-time role.

Requirements

Licensed Attorney, California license preferred.
Familiarity with California and Federal contract laws.
Knowledge of California and Federal construction laws preferred.
Experience negotiating large Construction / EPC contracts is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with solar, battery energy storage, and substation construction contracts preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent legal analytical skills
A keen eye for detail
Excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities

Reviews and analyzes contract terms and conditions for business risk and recommends revisions or alternative contract terms.
Oversees the contract approval process from contract generation to contract execution for all contracts, which includes distribution of all contracts, amendments, and extensions as assigned.
Keeps current with state and national legal requirements to ensure that the contract complies with legal requirements and policies.
Drafts and negotiates contract modifications.
Coordinate with outside counsel as-needed.
