This position is located in Fairfax, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: Full life cycle management of prime contracts and subcontracts. Pre-award responsibilities include strategy, regulatory compliance, proposal support, agreement formation, knowledge transfer, and partner due diligence when CGI is a sub. Post-award responsibilities include customer relationships, negotiation, contract filing, kick-off meetings, internal collaboration, industry relationships, risk reviews, audit support, and advising the business. The Sr. Contracts Manager also supervises other contract management professionals and provides training as needed.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in federal contracting/subcontracting experience.
Bachelor's Degree (advanced degree desired)
High level of business acumen - applies sound judgement
Market knowledge
Understanding of corporate policies and procedures
Ability to collaborate with executive leadership
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Deep knowledge of Federal acquisition concepts and rules
Proven staff management skills; emerging leadership skills
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to set priorities for self and staff
Ability to teach and mentor junior staff

Nice To Haves

CCCM, CFCM, CPCM or other relevant credentials desired
advanced degree desired
