Purpose of Job Manages Sasol's commercial risk, ensures compliance, and adds value to the bottom line through effective sourcing, negotiations, contract execution, and end to end contract management. Key Accountabilities · Accountable for the day-to-day tactical execution of assigned sourcing and contracting activities including execution of the sourcing / bidding process, negotiations, contract development and execution, contract management (adherence to contract, KPIs, etc.) and administration (document management, renewals, extensions, etc.), support to contract issue resolution, ensure operationalization of contracts in SAP (Outline Agreement requests / maintenance), support contract implementation / rollout, and provide input into supplier performance. · Ensures compliance to Sasol code of conduct, compliance framework, and Procurement processes, procedures, category strategies and guidance, sourcing plans, and work instructions · Provides input into the development of sourcing and contracting Procurement business processes · Assists with emergency requests from End Users and the prioritization of contract renewals notified through the Contract Management System · Ensures sourcing and contracting of materials and services from approved vendors · Ensures compliance to Sasol's Approved Manufacturers List (AML) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) quality systems · Proactively seeks to reduce Procurement spend, increase value from our suppliers, identify work improvements to drive efficiency (including automation), and report on savings / value generated · Builds and maintains collaborative and cohesive relationships with key internal business and Procurement stakeholders to assist with improved demand planning, scope development, and quality of contract requests to improve Procurement's ability to manage risk and deliver the right materials / services, on-time, and at best total cost of ownership · Maintains relationships with suppliers · Work with Legal to develop and execute contracts, develop templates, and resolve contract issues. · Assist in reconciling complex invoices to enable vendor payment · Resolve commercial disputes and claims as they arise · Support the development of sourcing strategies / plans for assigned areas · Responsible for onboarding/off boarding, orientation, administering, supervision and management of contractor team members Administrators as appointed · Accountable for providing regular updates to stakeholders on status of their request
