Contract Manager, Strategic Procurement and Sourcing, US OTC-CPG Summary The Contract Manager is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive view of assigned suppliers and to establish and maintain Consumer Product Goods OTC supplier relationships and contracts. A key role within Strategic Procurement and Sourcing, the Contract Manager leads CPG/OTC negotiation activities, ensures the proper execution of contracts, assesses overall supplier performance, and capitalizes on strategic opportunities to generate sourcing revenue and meet financial objectives as well as customer needs. The incumbent has a broad understanding of McKesson’s manufacturer services and can navigate and bring together capabilities across business units and as a global enterprise to enhance McKesson’s value to manufacturers and healthcare partners. The incumbent will primarily manage the portfolio of US based CPG/OTC suppliers in support of McKesson Global Procurement and Sourcing (MGPS) framework on joint sourcing across North America. What You’ll Do This role focuses on building and managing strategic relationships with CPG/OTC suppliers through account management, business reviews, and KPI-driven performance assessments. It requires negotiating and overseeing supplier agreements, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders, and mitigating risks throughout the contract lifecycle. You’ll develop strategies to drive revenue and margin growth, leveraging market insights to manage supply chain risks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to execute agreements, deliver services, and secure timely payments. Strong skills in contract negotiation, financial planning, legal literacy, and applying manufacturer services to meet supplier needs are critical for success.
