About The Position

The Senior Contracting Analyst & Negotiator position is responsible for working with the Procurement Contracting Managers and Senior Contracting Managers in the facilitation, negotiation completion and execution of agreements with suppliers and other service providers conducting business with HCSC. The Senior Contracting Analyst & Negotiator establishes and maintains positive relationships with HCSC internal business partners and other stakeholders, while facilitating the expeditious negotiation of contracts in the best interest of HCSC. NOTE: this role is hybrid/flex and requires in-office visibility three days per week, working from home the other two days. Relocation is NOT available; sponsorship will NOT be extended either now or in the future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience drafting and negotiating contract documents.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
  • Highly organized team player with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple contract negotiations.
  • Proven subject matter expertise in contract analysis and negotiations.

Nice To Haves

  • Law (Juris Doctor) degree.
  • Legal, contract management, or paralegal experience.
  • Experience negotiating agreements in a health care industry setting.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and data type designations.
  • Experience using an automated contract management system.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Procurement Contracting Managers and Senior Contracting Managers to facilitate and negotiate contracts.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts in the best interest of HCSC.
  • Mentor junior Contracting Analysts and Negotiators.
  • Lead and facilitate internal discussions during contract negotiations.
