We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our growing, collaborative, and creative team and immediately contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of immigrants and their families by offering the most reliable global financial services products. In this role, you'll be creating UX content experiences for key product teams. You'll report to the Senior Manager of Product Content. This is a hybrid role to support team collaboration and is based in Remitly's office in Seattle, Washington.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of content design experience with strong content strategy and UX writing skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, user experience, human-computer interaction, or equivalent experience.
  • A UX content design portfolio of in-depth case studies that showcases your content design thinking and how you approach, develop, and iterate your work.
  • Expertise with product design tools, especially Figma.
  • Familiarity with strategic content design tools and techniques including content audits, gap analyses, empathy maps, messaging frameworks, information hierarchy mapping, and voice-and-tone mapping.

Responsibilities

  • Lead UX product content design for key product teams, ensuring high-quality, clear content that serves Remitly's diverse, international audience.
  • Ensure that communications (SMS, push notifications, and emails) are crisp and engaging, helping customers manage their transfers with ease.
  • Collaborate with product designers to develop user flows and pinpoint the right components needed to create a friction-free user experience.
  • Contribute to team critiques and foster team skill building and growth.
  • Partner with UX research and analytics to inform UX content design decisions using data and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with product management on the creation and refinement of product requirements.
  • Lead content-focused A/B experimentation to uncover content insights and continually optimize the customer experience.
  • Collaborate on quality assurance testing and bug bashing.
  • Develop and refine messaging frameworks in collaboration with marketing.
  • Ensure content alignment with international regulations in collaboration with compliance, legal, privacy, and security teams.
