About The Position

We combine learnings from behavioral psychology, data science, and user insights to create experiences that are easy to understand and implement, regardless of our user’s age, location, or tech ability. We’re looking for a Senior Content Designer who will help shape our content strategy, execute on written communication within our product, and design and influence the experiences we deliver to our members within Omada. As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll work closely with product, clinical, and design partners to translate behavior science and clinical best practices into intuitive product experiences. You’ll explore, craft, test, and iterate on simple and compelling solutions that help people make lasting behavior change. You’ll design and implement our content experience, shape language and communication, and apply tone and voice to create simple and engaging solutions for our members.

Requirements

  • An excellent writer and communicator
  • Practitioner of human-centered design methodologies with experience in digital product development
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience in product/UX writing, content design, and/or content strategy that demonstrates positive impact to the end user and business
  • Experience balancing conceptual and generative thinking with user needs, business goals, and clinical insights
  • Able to collaborate with partners in clinical, marketing, product management, and design through the whole product lifecycle
  • Proficient collaborating with design teams in Figma, Miro, or equivalent design tools; experience and technical understanding of working with / managing a CMS
  • Experience working with and applying content guidelines
  • High attention to detail; comfortable independently multitasking and prioritizing projects

  • Collaborated with engineering, clinical, and product teams as part of the design process
  • Experience working on consumer-facing product experiences in healthcare or regulated industries

Responsibilities

  • Applying user-centered design methodologies to find opportunity with research and data, design, and test content solutions in partnership with product teams
  • Developing concepts, content strategy, and UX copy from early ideation through final execution
  • Writing in-app copy like onboarding screens, end-to-end flows, error messages, buttons, and tooltips
  • Partnering closely with our clinical partners to ensure that we structure and deliver our content in a way that works for all of our integrated condition experiences and meets our clinical standards
  • Collaborating closely with product managers and others, including care team operations, user insights, engineering, and clinical partners
  • Iterating on content standards and raising the content design bar with clear, concise, and meaningful language
