As a Senior Content Designer within our Operational Communications team, you’ll be at the forefront of Target’s evolving digital experience, shaping it for our guests and contributing to business growth. In this role, you will develop guest-facing email and push communications that are clear, compelling, and on-brand. You’ll dig into what makes an effective outbound message and how it fits into the larger user journey on behalf of both the guest’s desires and the business’s needs. You’ll be embedded in a user experience team, working alongside product designers, product managers, business partners, researchers, and developers to deliver best-in-class UI, but you’ll also have the support of the content design team to compare notes on writing, language, and how content comes to life across the organization. You’ll be empowered to not only create clear and engaging content for existing experiences, but to envision entirely new experiences and proactively seek out ways that content can bring joy and ease into the lives of our guests. As a member of the team, you will contribute to advancing the broader practice of UX at Target through influence, impact, and craft, while also educating cross-functional teams when needed.
