About The Position

As an important part of our team, the Senior Content Designer will drive the in-app digital coaching experience within our EveryDollar app. Your primary focus will be crafting content that guides users through their financial journey—helping them build better budgeting habits, navigate complex decisions, and stay motivated to achieve their financial goals. You'll collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to create personalized, engaging, and actionable digital coaching content that meets users where they are and nudges them toward success.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in UX writing, digital coaching, or behavioral content strategy
• Strong understanding of behavioral psychology and habit formation in digital experiences
• Experience crafting motivational, user-centered content that drives engagement and long-term behavior change
• Ability to execute a vision and bring ideas to life
• Heart to 'make it better' by identifying roadblocks and presenting solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop digital coaching content that provides timely guidance and financial insights within the EveryDollar app
• Write and optimize in-product messaging to improve engagement and feature adoption
• Create habit-forming content strategies that reinforce positive financial behaviors over time
• A/B test digital coaching messages to improve user engagement, retention, and financial progress
• Work with UX and product teams to align content with user journeys
• Partner with data and research teams to analyze user feedback and behavior, iterating on content to drive better outcomes
• Maintain a consistent and empathetic brand voice
• Increase user retention through personalized digital coaching interventions
• Improve onboarding completion rates with targeted coaching messages
• Increase budget completion rates through behavioral nudges and guided coaching
• Boost adoption of key financial habits via effective in-product content
