This isn’t a “content job.” This is a creative ownership role. We’re not looking for someone to take photos. We’re looking for someone who can build moments, tell stories, and create content that actually moves people—and sells rings. Who We Are Manly Bands exists because buying a wedding ring sucked. Too small. Too boring. Zero personality. So we fixed it. We’ve built one of the most unique brands in the space—badass, story-driven rings with personality—and now we need someone who can bring that same energy to life visually. We move fast. We push creative. We don’t do average. The Role You’ll own content creation from idea → execution → final asset. This is a hands-on creator role first, with leadership layered in.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years creating high-level photo content
  • Are elite with a camera + lighting setups
  • Know Adobe Creative Suite like second nature
  • Have a portfolio that makes people say “damn”
  • Care about details most people don’t even notice
  • Move fast without breaking quality
  • Bring energy, humor, and ownership to everything you do

Nice To Haves

  • Have ecom / product experience
  • Have worked with digital asset management systems and understand tagging / categorization
  • Are organized and have used tools like Clickup / Asana
  • Can jump into video + motion when needed
  • Have led shoots or small teams before
  • Are the person everyone relies on when things get chaotic

Responsibilities

  • Plan / Shoot / Edit / Deliver high-end product photography
  • Capture lifestyle, campaign, and social content that feels like something
  • Assist on video shoots and jump into editing when needed
  • Make content that doesn’t just look good, it converts viewers into customers
  • Plan shoots, build shot lists, and bring concepts to life
  • Run set days like a pro (gear, lighting, flow, energy)
  • Keep production tight, efficient, and high quality
  • Contribute to campaign ideas, hooks, and creative direction
  • Understand what makes content perform—not just look pretty
  • Maintain and evolve the Manly Bands visual identity
  • Edit, retouch, color grade—whatever it takes to get it right
  • Stay organized (files, assets, systems—no chaos creators)
  • Continuously push your own quality bar higher
