Engineering, Planning & Strategy will play a leading role in showing California and the world how PG&E will meet California's decarbonization and resilience goals while improving safety, affordability and reliability. EP&S will have asset management responsibilities for our gas system and electric infrastructure and will integrate inputs from across the enterprise to define our multi-year capital plan. EP&S will enable our coworkers on the front lines to have the plans, tools, and equipment they need, so we can do the right work at the right time. This position provides expert-level project management and leadership for Project Management's largest and most complex initiatives. These high-impact projects directly influence Business Unit financial performance, strategic objectives, and overall success. Projects typically span multiple years, exceed $10 million in budget, require significant risk management, involve high complexity, and may include formal partnering agreements with external firms. Under limited direction, the role is responsible for all aspects of project development and implementation, serving as the single point of contact for assigned projects. Assignments are highly visible, demand advanced project management skills, and often require specialized expertise in areas such as electric transmission substation projects and electric transmission line projects. This is a hybrid position, with work split between your remote office and your assigned location based on business needs. The assigned location will be within the PG&E Bay Area-Central Coast region.
