We’re looking for a Senior Consulting Engineer to lead projects to help Wind operators monitor, predict, and optimize asset health. You’ll apply your expertise in maintenance consulting, reliability engineering, and technical advisory while collaborating across teams to deliver high-impact results.   • Lead and manage consulting projects which may include failure investigation, QAQC, reliability centered maintenance, turbine technology review, inspection
  • Collaborate with the business development team to create accurate costings and technical sales proposals.
  • Represent ONYX at industry events, contributing to presentations and expanding our presence.
  • Travel to wind farms and manufacturing facilities to support engineering consulting projects and opportunities.
  • Climb wind turbines to support engineering consulting projects and opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth communication with clients and internal/external stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.
  • Develop and deliver customer-facing presentations, project reports, and updates.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of pilot and commercial projects, from initial concept to final execution.
  • Manage subcontractors and create work instructions for efficient project delivery.
  • Provide expert consulting on predictive maintenance and asset management strategies.
  • Participate in global product reviews with hardware and software teams, ensuring product evolution meets market demands.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical preferred).
  • At least 10 years of experience preferably in the wind industry, with in-depth knowledge of wind turbine hardware, and specialization in foundations and towers.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and wind turbine component knowledge.
  • A willingness to learn new skills, including software tools and advanced engineering concepts.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with the MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently in a flexible, results-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, particularly under pressure.
  • Strong technical presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to wind farms and industry events.
