About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the U.S. Senate program.The ideal candidate will provide objective advice, expertise and specialized skills with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth or improving the performance of their clients. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: Support Enterprise instances of Exchange Messaging, Active Directory, and Mobility Management. Work as part of a cohesive, high performing, and reliable team of Engineers. Promote knowledge sharing amongst teams. Provide advanced technical consulting and advice to team members and customer on troubleshooting efforts, system management, tuning and modification of solutions. Provide IT Service Management built upon integrating people, processes and technology based on industry best practices. Deliver high quality IT services using consistently-applied methodologies and best practices. Maintain state-of-the-art expertise on the hardware and software in use by the US Senate. Required to be onsite full-time and provide second and third tier operational support for lab and production systems. Microsoft Windows, Exchange Server, and PowerShell experience a must. Ability to actively research, test, document, and implement customer software and hardware solutions, as well as have good trouble-shooting skills. Able to monitor Active Directory, Exchange, Mobile Device Management, and regular system maintenance. Discover, test, and implement operational improvements and optimizations for the customer environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience or Associate’s degree and 7 years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 9 years experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Five (5)+ yrs. experience in Windows AD administration.
  • Five (5)+ yrs. experience in Microsoft Messaging products (Exchange).
  • Experience working in an Enterprise level environment.
  • Experience working on Federal Government projects.
  • Microsoft PowerShell experience required.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams/Skype for Business.
  • Experience responding to System Alerts.
  • Experience supporting AirWatch/Workspace ONE or similar Mobility Solutions.
  • Capable of reviewing and editing documentation.
  • Must be flexible to support after-hours work.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office365/Teams and Azure is a must.
