About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of data reporting and analytics solutions for our clients within the utilities sector. Work closely with clients through the entire systems lifecycle, from requirements gathering to solution implementation. Lead the development of data-driven decisions to create products and programs for utility companies. Design and implement advanced reporting and visualization solutions using tools like Tableau or Power BI to deliver real-time, actionable insights. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective solutions using reporting tools. Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SQL and python to ensure accurate and insightful data is readily available to business area customers. Implement best practices and frameworks for data collection, analysis, and model building, working with compliance teams. Develop multiple models for predictive analytics to empower and meet organizational goals in the utilities sector. Design data models within Databricks and maintain data quality, integrity, accuracy, and consistency. Establish data governance, policies, and procedures for data security and accuracy. Create appealing dashboards and data visualizations to effectively communicate complex data records or information. Use the comprehensive understanding of the utility industry, including electric, gas, and water utilities in the suggesting industry leading solutions to improve client’s business. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements

Experience with data reporting and analytics solutions
Experience with the entire systems lifecycle
Experience with Tableau or Power BI
Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SQL and python
Experience with data collection, analysis, and model building
Experience with predictive analytics
Experience with data models within Databricks
Experience with data governance, policies, and procedures for data security and accuracy
Comprehensive understanding of the utility industry, including electric, gas, and water utilities
