Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive software development experience.
  • 8 years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center implementation.
  • 8 years of experience in the Insurance domain.
  • 8 years of experience working with Agile Methodology of software development.
  • 8 years of experience working with a multi-functional team comprised of QA engineers and other roles.
  • 8 years of experience in functional, integration and automation testing.
  • 3 years of experience in process improvement initiatives named shift left technique.

Responsibilities

  • Own product guidance by providing product leadership and daily management throughout product development from inception to delivery.
  • Lead and hold teams accountable to deliver on product vision along with the reporting of the roadmap execution to ensure delivery and quality results.
  • Create requirements and drive reviews with internal teams and with clients to ensure clarity and understanding.
  • Work closely with development teams to define iteration content and communicate/groom user context and business requirements with adequate detail.
  • Contribute to the product increment planning processes, including product planning, backlog management, innovation pipeline, etc.
  • Work with clients and teammates to conceptualize, lead, analyze, research, document, communicate, architect, design and implement technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business vision and requirements, developing use cases, and interface among client business teams, client IT/IS teams and Wipfli engineering teams.
  • Assist in designing and developing technology solutions based on client requirements.
  • Support sales and account planning efforts to understand client business requirements and help architect solutions.
  • Participate in R&D (research and development) and foundational efforts to help position the team to learn, develop and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Provide leadership to a team of engineers to design and develop technology solutions based on client requirements.
