We’re seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in strategic sourcing, contracting strategy, and supply chain who thrives in complex project environments. You will support and execute sourcing initiatives through the full sourcing lifecycle - from early capital planning and market intelligence through contract execution and vendor performance management – while integrating seamlessly with project controls, engineering, and construction delivery. You’ll operate as a trusted advisor to utility executives and program leaders, shaping sourcing strategies that reduce cost, mitigate risk, and improve speed-to-field in an era of unprecedented capital expansion.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in consulting, procurement, supply chain, operations or commercial strategy
  • Experience supporting sourcing, contract development, or supplier management
  • Strong analytic and financial modeling capabilities
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations
  • Experience working in cross-functional project environments

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to capital projects, infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial sectors preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing for Major Projects: support development and execution of sourcing strategies, develop RFP materials and bid evaluation frameworks, and build financial and commercial models to inform decisions
  • Integrate Commercial and Technical Strategy: collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commercial and technical priorities
  • Shape Market Engagement Models: Support contract development and negotiation preparation and assist in evaluating supplier capabilities and risk profiles
  • Support contract administration activities including change order analysis, commercial compliance tracking, and deliverable management
  • Monitor market and commodity trends to inform pricing assumptions, negotiation strategy, and sourcing timing
  • Enable Execution at Speed: build and maintain sourcing trackers and dashboards, support governance processes, and monitor supplier performance and contract compliance
