Mission: Ascent Security Consultants pair project management skills with cybersecurity technical acumen. As a Senior Consultant, your experience with field-tested cybersecurity tactics and defenses and clear, proven communication works to confirm client-team trust and drive accurate recommendations for Microsoft Security implementation and maintenance. Your ability to create, pitch, assist with security audits, and lead self-aware project design and execution makes you an essential team member.

  • Develop project plans and weekly status reports.
  • Identify and communicate project risks, key decisions, and dependencies.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and build effective relationships.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of customer’s network, information and security systems.
  • Manage customer communication and expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout implementations.
  • Provide all manner of support including installation and configuration.
  • Provide troubleshooting and de-bugging during the engagement.
  • Assist with technical questions and concerns.
  • Help Project Managers and Engagement Managers manage customer communication and expectations by ensuring customer satisfaction throughout implementations.
  • Assist customer teams with technical questions.
  • Develop technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer to customers.
  • 5+ years of security and risk industry experience
  • 5+ years of security consulting experience
  • 5+ years of Microsoft security advisory and professional services experience
