Are you ready to design your future? Be our next Senior Consultant - Rail & Transit Expert (Part-time). Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a part of the Infrastructure - Transportation business practice in the Mid Atlantic Sector, based in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for various projects. Project types will be diverse and include, but not be limited to, new structures, rehabilitation of existing structures, and inspections and load rating of existing structures including bridges, culverts, retaining walls and transit/railway facilities. The projects will involve a wide variety of structure types, foundations and materials for clients such as DDOT, VDOT, MDOT, WMATA, Utility Owners, Federal Agencies, Private Developers and Metropolitan Washington Local Governments and Municipalities.

Requirements

  • B.S in civil engineering or related field.
  • PE in DC, MD or VA.
  • Managed WMATA projects.
  • Supervised at least 10-person engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business development in Rail and Transit and Structural Engineering.
  • Help preparing or review technical proposals.
  • Attend project meetings and management meetings.
  • Perform Quality Control of design projects.
  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
