About The Position

Infosys is seeking Senior Consultant-Ignition. This position will interface with key stakeholders and your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Columbus, IN or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of full stack development experience in analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Experience with Ignition (UI, etc.), Web Integration (REST, SOAP), PLC Communication (Read/Write via Ignition), Database Communication (Read/Write), Event Scripting (Python, Java, VB, etc.), and mobile robotic automation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Database Experience: Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, etc.
• Database Design Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and demonstrate technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Create high level design artifacts.
• Deliver high quality code deliverables for a module.
• Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
• Engage with Business users in defining UAT test plans.
• Create/update documents related to the application.
• Collaborate and communicate directly with Plant Stakeholders including IT, Controls, and Industrial Engineers.
