About The Position
The Senior Consultant Finance role at Mercy is a pivotal position within the Finance department, focusing on data and business analysis for the Mercy Supply Chain. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from sourcing and contracting to supply utilization, and is integral to the operational and financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for supply data within Mercy's data warehouse, ensuring that business stakeholders can effectively understand and utilize data resources for complex analyses. In this role, the consultant will collaborate closely with various teams, including Finance, Supply Chain, Information Technology, and the Enterprise Data Analytics Office (EDAO). Building and maintaining strong relationships with operational leaders across the health system is essential for success. The position requires a significant technology focus, leveraging enterprise resource technologies such as Lawson, Epic, and Tecsys to drive insights and improvements in supply chain operations. The consultant will also be expected to travel periodically to various Mercy facilities, including hospitals and clinics, to engage with regional supply collaborators. This travel is essential for fostering collaboration and ensuring that the supply chain operates efficiently across multiple states, predominantly in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
