This is a growing area of our business and is a great opportunity for an early-career professional to join a dynamic and innovative team. Compiling analysis and preparation of deliverables to contribute to the completion of multiple engagement phases of a project. Demonstrate capabilities with moderate to high level of supervision, depending on complexity and scope of the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
  • 7+ years experience in a business/consulting environment.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (Maters Preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics, or digital project management.
  • Proficiency in tools such as ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise, SQL Python, Power BI, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience managing large-scale geospatial or data-driven projects in government, utilities, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high quality client outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in data science or engineering
  • 2+ years’ experience in an analytical / data- centric role
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure Design / Construction Projects
  • Basic programming skills (VBA, Python, R, JavaScript)
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Basic knowledge of data integration (/ETL) (APIs, PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Bl, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Industry certifications are a plus (e.g. GISP, PMP, ESRI Technical certifications)
  • Knowledge of modern data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or Scala).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in scoping, estimating, and managing data projects for multiple clients.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly articulates methodologies, rationale, and outcomes through both written and oral communication.
  • Identifies and applies suitable technical approaches for diagnosing issues and devising solutions, leveraging subject matter experts as necessary to address knowledge gaps.
  • Assists clients in implementing modern data platforms and advanced analytics capabilities.
  • Contributes to business development by preparing proposals and participating in client strategy meetings.
  • Advises clients on best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Designs and delivers data warehousing and cloud-based solutions tailored to specific client requirements.
  • Leads and oversees the comprehensive delivery of complex digital consulting and data management projects, including requirements gathering, scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for clients, translating business objectives into technical strategies, presenting findings and recommendations, and supporting business development initiatives.
  • Architects, implements, and maintains scalable data pipelines and infrastructures using technologies such as SQL, Python, and Power BI, building and sustaining ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
  • Develops applications, dashboards, and reports to address client needs, delivering actionable insights and effectively communicating technical information through compelling visualizations to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Designs and automates quality control and data governance frameworks, validates and integrates diverse data sources, and ensures adherence to best practices in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and security.
  • Provides technical leadership and mentorship to both client and internal teams, proactively expanding subject matter expertise, keeping abreast of emerging technologies, and contributing to organizational knowledge sharing with a focus on data architecture and engineering.
