About The Position

As a Senior Consultant specializing in Core Java, you will be responsible for building features for a hybrid cloud SaaS product that adheres to strict SLAs and maintains low latency. You will propose strategic designs, modifications, and technical solutions that are backed by data. Your role will involve interacting with the product team to understand business requirements and design appropriate technical solutions. Additionally, you will analyze program performance during execution using various programming languages and techniques, perform code reviews, and follow the change management process. It is essential to maintain a cutting-edge knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends, and standards.

Requirements

• Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming language; multiple languages a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Web Services REST and SOAP.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with JBoss, Spring Boot is a bonus.
• Experience with XML and JSON.
• Experience with any major RDBMS e.g. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge and experience.
• Shell Scripting.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a bonus.
• Experience leading a team is a bonus.
