Pioneer Management ConsultingMinneapolis, MN
1d$105,000 - $157,000

About The Position

As a Senior Consultant, Artificial Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering AI-powered solutions that help our clients solve complex business challenges and accelerate transformation. You are a seasoned, self-directed consultant who operates comfortably at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to client leaders, helping them envision what’s possible with AI, define pragmatic roadmaps, and deliver production-ready solutions. You bring a strong builder’s mindset—particularly with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI Services, and modern web-based AI platforms—and you enjoy rolling up your sleeves to lead delivery while mentoring others along the way. You will be front and center with executive stakeholders, guiding decision-making, leading solution design, and ensuring AI initiatives drive measurable business outcomes. If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy shaping new offerings, and are energized by creating AI solutions that truly move the needle, we want to meet you.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in consulting, technology, or AI solution delivery, with demonstrated ownership of client-facing workstreams.
  • Proven experience delivering production-ready AI or intelligent automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, including custom copilots, plugins, and connectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Bot Framework).
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and/or other low-code development tools.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, including REST APIs, GraphQL, and enterprise architectures.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical and delivery plans.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and facilitating workshops, design sessions, and decision forums.
  • Experience leading small teams or workstreams and owning delivery outcomes.
  • Passion for creating and experimenting—not just maintaining existing solutions.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Working knowledge of responsible AI principles, security standards, governance models, and data privacy requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Copilot extensions for Dynamics 365, Teams, or SharePoint.

  • Exposure to industry-specific AI use cases (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, utilities).
  • Experience contributing to AI strategy, adoption, or change management efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a day-to-day client lead for AI initiatives, advising executives and senior leaders on AI capabilities, opportunities, risks, and adoption strategies.
  • Translate business priorities into actionable AI roadmaps aligned to organizational readiness, data maturity, and change management considerations.
  • Coach client teams and internal colleagues on AI concepts, solution design, and responsible adoption.
  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI applications using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI Services, and related AI frameworks.
  • Own solution architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term sustainability.
  • Guide technical implementation across Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI, and integrated enterprise systems.
  • Rapidly design and deliver proofs-of-concept and MVPs to validate business value and technical feasibility.
  • Apply agile delivery methods to iterate quickly, incorporate feedback, and accelerate time to value.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable assets, accelerators, and proprietary AI solutions.
  • Partner closely with business strategists, data engineers, developers, and change practitioners to co-create holistic solutions.
  • Mentor consultants and analysts, providing technical guidance, quality assurance, and professional development support.
  • Contribute to internal AI communities of practice, standards, and best practices.
  • Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data platforms, CRM systems, ERP tools, collaboration platforms, and operational systems.
  • Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and responsible AI standards, including data privacy and bias mitigation.
  • Remain current on evolving AI technologies, Copilot capabilities, LLM advancements, and industry trends.
  • Help Pioneer refine AI offerings, points of view, and go-to-market approaches as the practice continues to grow.
