As a Senior Consultant, Air Quality, you play a key role in helping clients successfully navigate evolving standards across air, water, waste, and broader EHS programs. Your insights and technical expertise directly influence how major companies protect communities, manage resources, and move toward a safer, more sustainable future. What Your Impact Is In this role, you will: Support a diverse set of EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation, remediation, and due diligence projects for major industrial and global clients. Prepare plans, permits, and reports supporting air quality, stormwater, SPDES, hazardous waste, and wastewater programs. Conduct environmental compliance assessments and guide follow‑up corrective actions to help clients meet federal, state, and local regulatory standards. Contribute to the development and implementation of EHS compliance programs and environmental management systems. Provide essential onsite and offsite environmental compliance support as needed. Perform Phase I environmental site assessments to support property and business transactions. Conduct field sampling and ecological studies, including groundwater, soil, sediment, and surface water. Deliver high‑quality work across multiple concurrent projects while meeting scope, budget, and schedule expectations. Partner closely with Project Managers and Partners-in-Charge to ensure project success and outstanding client service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline. Or equivalent experience.
  • 3–4 years (6 years preferred) of relevant environmental experience or professional internships.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and solid analytical abilities.
  • Experience recording and writing detailed technical data and reports (preferred but not required).
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently with minimal supervision, travel as needed, and adapt to shifting project priorities.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

  • EIT or PE certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation/remediation, and transaction-related projects.
  • Prepare environmental plans, permits, and reports across air quality, stormwater, SPDES, hazardous waste, and wastewater programs.
  • Conduct environmental compliance assessments and corrective action planning.
  • Support development of EHS compliance and management system programs.
  • Deliver general environmental compliance support to clients, including onsite assistance.
  • Perform Phase I environmental site assessments for property/business transfer transactions.
  • Conduct environmental fieldwork—groundwater, soil, sediment, surface water sampling, and ecological field studies.
  • Manage multiple projects within scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring consistent quality in all deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with ERM Project Managers and Partners-in-Charge to support project delivery and client satisfaction.
