About The Position
Construction Services Van Nest Shops is a premier provider of welding and precision machining services, committed to delivering top-quality components and assemblies to a wide range of customers. We are dedicated to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a Sr. Construction Specialist who is highly skilled and experienced in Machine Shop Operations and/or Certified Weld Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and/or welding, with the ability to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our production processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Computer Aided Design (CAD), Machinery Engineering, and Tooling, and/or a subject matter expert of Welding. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that all machining and welding is performed according to governing specifications and maintaining high-quality on all company equipment. The candidate should have experience in welding processes, including GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW, and be familiar with API, ASME, and AWS Structural Steel codes.
