The position involves oversight of construction personnel working on a small assigned area of the construction site. The individual will ensure that the construction work aligns with the construction plans and will identify any deficiencies in the constructed structures. The role includes reviewing contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with construction timelines, costs, and materials. Additionally, the position requires providing technical guidance and training to junior staff, reviewing their work, and documenting any deficiencies, expected cost overruns, materials issues, and other related construction risks. The individual will prepare related reports, such as monthly progress reports, and maintain a daily report of construction activities. Other duties may be required, including communicating construction issues to project leadership, escalating issues to the appropriate design staff for resolution, and ensuring that issue resolutions are communicated to the construction staff and project leadership.
