The successful SR. Construction Project Manager will have a minimum of 5 years of field experience in multi-family construction management. Our Construction Department takes pride in managing our projects with the GC’s in a proactive manner, focusing on schedule, cost and quality. We look ahead to prevent issues and tend to get hands on resolving issues shoulder to shoulder with the GC’s. PM or PM managing ground up multi-family, garden style, wrap, mid-rise, AL, hotel or similar multi-story projects Strong field experience and a knowledge of construction processes, common site problems and solutions Experience observing unauthorized change orders or deficiencies in the current plan Experience with wood framing products. Well versed in construction schedule management Strong ability to read construction plans and specifications written by project designers Understand job cost control and cost control reporting Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and P3 Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred Day to Day Ensure job estimates are complete and accurate and bid deadlines are met Direct all pre-con activity to ensure permits are approved and contract documents are completed Create and maintain project schedule Build schedule of value for project Ensure all RFI’s, PCO’s and CO’s submittals and cost issues have been submitted and resolved in a timely manner Review/troubleshoot General contractor draw requests and change order requests for submission for payment Conflict resolution Quality control throughout all processes, zero punch list goal Complete all project closeout documentation and approve review/inspect/release of any retention Schedule and conduct regular job meetings with all parties as required for success Ensure the management of job is communicated and documented through verbal and/or written reports on regular basis Maintain and foster positive working relationships with all parties involved Represent The Collier Companies as a professional at all times Our Culture – How We’re Different: The Collier Companies is a fast-growing company that fosters a professional attitude and a strong team spirit.
