Senior Construction Project Manager
About The Position
Lead the full lifecycle of large-scale capital construction projects, from entitlement and design through construction, commissioning, and turnover. Manage base build construction including site development, structural systems, MEP infrastructure, and architectural finishes. Oversee the design and delivery of ISO-classified cleanrooms, ensuring compliance with semiconductor industry standards and operational requirements. Coordinate the integration of hazardous materials systems (e.g., chemical delivery, gas distribution, exhaust and abatement systems) in accordance with EH&S and regulatory standards. Navigate entitlement processes, including permitting, zoning, environmental impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement. Implement and maintain robust project controls including cost management, schedule tracking, risk mitigation, and performance reporting. Administer contracts, change orders, claims, and procurement strategies in alignment with company policies and legal requirements. Provide leadership and oversight on projects involving Superfund or environmentally sensitive sites, ensuring environmental compliance and remediation coordination. Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment and successful delivery. Deliver executive-level reporting and presentations on project status, risks, and strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Experience with Superfund sites or similar environmentally regulated projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tool install coordination, facility startup, and commissioning in semiconductor environments.
- Knowledge of Fire Life Safety and Gas Life Safety Systems and requirements.
- Prior experience working for a General Contractor is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of EH&S protocols, OSHA standards, and environmental remediation practices.
- Experience working in live manufacturing environments with minimal disruption to operations.
